CEDEM & Rotary Amman Transform Lives with Hearing Aid for Kids

In a heartwarming event at the Hyatt Hotel, sixteen children received life-changing hearing aids as part of the “Jordanian Hope Hearing Aids” project. The ceremony was attended by representatives from Rotary Clubs and the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, highlighting a collaborative effort to empower vulnerable communities.

This transformative initiative was made possible through a Rotary Zurich International grant, coordinated by Rasha Oudeh, a Jordanian entrepreneur and member of the Rotary Club of Zurich International. Speaking about the project, Oudeh shared, “My first goal was to establish a partnership that would benefit my country, Jordan. Seeing this project approved and supported is a great delight, especially when it positively impacts children. I hope to repeat this achievement annually.”

CEDEM played a vital role in supporting the initiative, reflecting the company’s commitment to social responsibility and its mission to improve lives globally. By participating in this meaningful project, CEDEM underscored its dedication to empowering vulnerable communities and fostering impactful change.

Ghada Fanek, President of the Rotary Club of Amman Cosmopolitan, commended Rasha Oudeh’s dedication and highlighted the potential for this project to serve as a model for future grants. The Jordanian Hearing Technology Company also played a crucial role by providing a 50% discount on the devices and training for families, ensuring long-term benefits for the children involved.

CEDEM is proud to have contributed to such a life-changing initiative and remains steadfast in its mission to support impactful projects that make a difference worldwide.
